How to Earn

  • Do you have social media? Share photos of your strap!
    • on Instagram, promote the link in your bio
    • for Facebook, add the link to the description or in the comments
  • Do you have a website, store, or gear page?
    • Display our strap in your shop and link to our website via your affiliate link!
  • Are you in a band?
      • It works great if you have a "gear" page or If you have a support or about page, add a blurb about Revo
    • Any other way to promote Revo in a genuine, non-spammy way.
      • We have all seen influencers promote products in cringe-worthy ways... please do not do that :)

    How to Become an Affiliate

    We use a service called Affiliatly. Here is the link to sign up (or use the form above):

    After you register, you will receive a welcome email.

    Your unique affiliate link will be the second link in the email. It will look like this, with the ref=XX being your unique identifier:

    You will have your own dashboard where you can view the number of visitors, orders, and more.

    You will also need to set up a method to receive our payments to you. Right now, we are using PayPal for it. If you need another option, please let us know (Brian at RevoGuitarStraps.com)

      

    How Affiliatly Works

    Once you create an account, the Affiliatly software creates a unique link for each affiliate.

    You will be compensated for any purchases attributed to your link.

    Affiliatly will track visitors even if they do not use your link on sequential website visits.

    On average, it takes people 0-3 days to purchase from us after first discovering us. However, some people do take longer, so we have set it up to track any purchases from your link within 30 days of the last click.

     

    Payment Structure

    Here is the payment structure:

    • $20 commission per strap referred
    • Paid on the 15th of the month

    We pay on the 15 of the month for orders from the previous month. For example, June earnings will be paid on July 15th.

    It's as simple as that!

     

    Coupon/Promo Codes

    Do not share discounts or promo codes without prior consent. You still get credit for any sales using promo codes, but we are in charge of how we share the promo codes.

    We will have various special promotions throughout the year for affiliates to use.

     

    The Fine Print 

    Future Changes:  We reserve the right to change or terminate this program at any time. At the time of any major changes, you will be paid out for anything prior to that notice at the rates agreed upon at that time.

    Termination: We can terminate your account at any time if we believe you are promoting our product in a manner that does not align with our brand.

    In other words, do not engage in spamming your email list or any email list, do not write fake reviews or obnoxious guest posts, do not over-promote, do not annoy, do not do anything along those lines. Treat our brand like it was your own.

    However, there is no bidding on search engines on Revo Guitar Straps or any branded keywords. We will immediately terminate your affiliate relationship and will not pay unpaid earnings.

    No Coupon Sites: If the primary purpose of your website or landing page is to provide coupon codes, we will not pay any affiliate commissions and will terminate your account.

    Forum Spam Forbidden: Do not message people on forum sites, or use forum comments to share our affiliate link.

    Returns: We receive almost no returns from customers. Occasionally, there is an exchange between one style to another style. If we notice a large amount of returns or other odd activity, we reserve the right to hold payments for up to 60 days (to match our return policy). AKA - it will be obvious to us if you are trying to purchase from your own affiliate link and returning the product.

    Inactivity: We will terminate any affiliates with little or no activity in the past 3 months because our software is based on the number of affiliates. You can rejoin at a future date.
